Receiving an intravenous vitamin drip is 100% safe when administered by qualified health care practitioners, and the vitamins are sourced from, and manufactured by a regulated and sterile facility. WellnessWorx sources their vitamins from the highest quality and reputable manufacturers, and all drips are administered by registered nurses, with the business being overseen by General Medical Practitioners (GP’s).

There are certain medical conditions like congestive cardiac failure and kidney disfunction/failure where you should not receive an IV vitamin drip. Conditions like these will be screened at your first visit to ensure your safety.

There are no side effects from the drip itself, and once the drip is being administered, there should be no pain at all. However, like with any injection, there could be tenderness at the needle insertion site for the following 24hrs, but the site discomfort should be minimal.

For most of our drips, a once a month administration is ideal.

In certain medical circumstances, a once every 2 weeks administration can be performed. This can be discussed with the nurse administering your drip.

Our skin lightening drip should be administered twice a week for the first month to achieve the desired results.

It varies from person to person, but for most people approx 15-20min for the 200ml drip, and approx 45min-1hour for the 1 lite drip.

No referral is needed. Our own team of health care practitioners will assess and guide you.

Payments are made directly to us after your IV drip session, we have cash and card facilities. An EFT option is available, but proof of payment would need to be submitted to us prior to your IV drip session.

Unfortunately these IV vitamin drips cannot be claimed back from your medical aid.

Unless there is a very specific medical need to administer a drip to a child, we will only administer drips to people 18yrs or older.
